The player registration forms will be available at the TNCA office from May 6 and the last date for submission of form is June 10.
Those who were released by franchisees last year and fresh players who are interested to participate in the draft can register themselves. As many as 37 players were released with MSG – Madurai Super Giants letting go of nine players.
BCCI didn’t grant permission for the outstation stars to feature in Tamil Nadu Premier League (TNPL) inaugural edition of the last year.
with the second edition of the TNPL set to get underway this July, a top source in TNCA mentioned that the TNCA registered outstation cricketers “can register” themselves for the player draft which is likely to be held in the second week of June.

TNPL 2nd edition registrations open for the draft from May 6. Though TNCA registered outstation players didn’t feature last time, they can register for the TNPL 2017 draft.

TNPL T20 2017 is 2nd edition of Tamil Nadu Premier League, TNPL is an Indian Twenty20 cricket league established by the Tamil Nadu State Cricket Association (TNCA) in August 2016. The domestic cricket competition is modelled along the lines of the popular Indian Premier League (IPL).
